Topic: Workflow - sRGB or rec709 in OpenDCP (from Premiere TIFF sequence)?

Hi, I'm really confused and could do with a little guidance on the following workflow please . . .

- ProRes file supplied to me in rec709
- ProRes file taken into Adobe Premiere Pro (CC2015 on a Mac) and then a TIFF sequence is exported from Premiere
- In OpenDCP should I set my source colour as sRGB or rec709? I have tried both options and the results are different (the only thing that looks different is the gamma, to my untrained eye).

I have searched a lot of forums looking for this info but it seems to be elusive . . . thank you for your help!

Re: Workflow - sRGB or rec709 in OpenDCP (from Premiere TIFF sequence)?

i have, more or less, the same question.

my workflow is:

proreshq rendered in final cut as 10bit yuv.
from that, tiffs are rendered.

should i be using srgb or rec709? something else?

i just screened the srgb dcp in a theater and it looked a bit dark and contrasty. not objectionably so, but noticable.

thanks,
